2022 was full of many important events for KS Vive Handball Kielce. It was then that ŚGP INDUSTRIA established cooperation with the Club, but the team was also one step away from achieving the highest sports successes on the international arena.
June 27, 2022 – this is an important date in the history of KS Vive Handball Kielce. From that day, Świętokrzyskie Industrial Group INDUSTRIA joined the group of sponsors. Thus, after about 20 years, “Vive” disappeared from the name of the team and was replaced by the name of the new sponsor. In this way, cooperation brings benefits to both parties – the club has gained a thriving partner, and INDUSTRIA has gained an excellent carrier of promotion and communication of its services. It was emphasized by the president of INDUSTRIA, Szczepan Ruman, at the official conference inaugurating the cooperation. – We want to communicate the new brand in the name of the club. The club shows that it is possible to build a project at the highest level here in Kielce. We also want this to be a determinant in our activities – noted the president.
2022 was really successful for KS Vive Handball Kielce. The successes that have gone down in gold letters in the history of the Club include the second place and thus winning the silver medal in the Final Four of the EHF Champions League (the final lost on penalties to the famous FC Barcelona). The tournament of the IHF Super Globe club world championship in October in Saudi Arabia ended with a success in the form of third place (already with INDUSTRIA in the team’s name). We must not forget about the important success in the PGNiG Superliga, where our team won the Polish championship for the 19th time in history. This is the eleventh such title won in a row, i.e. continuously since 2002.
But the life of the Club is not only sports games. In their free time, players also engage in a lot of social projects promoting various attitudes. The most important is, of course, a healthy lifestyle, but also care for the natural environment and the promotion of pro-ecological attitudes. That is why athletes regularly conduct, for example, handball training, visit kindergartens and schools, but also plant trees and shrubs in cooperation with various organizations or educate the youngest about how to segregate waste.
An important element of the non-sporting work of KS Vive Handball Kielce is the Join Bertus initiative. It is a community of sponsors and partners of the Club, consisting of approx. 160 companies. It is a space for cooperation between the Club and enterprises in the field of promotion, gaining new business contacts, participation in attractive business and social events. An example of such activities is a meeting organized in November last year in cooperation with the Consulate General of the French Republic in Cracow and the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce between sponsors and French companies. The event was also attended by representatives of Industria. In February, a similar meeting is planned in Warsaw in cooperation with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce.
It is also worth mentioning the Santa Claus training organized especially for the children of the Club’s sponsors and partners. The Wild Match (Dziki Mecz), i.e. a match between first team players and children practicing handball at the Vive Kids Academy, has become a permanent fixture in the club’s calendar. Traditionally, it is held after the last match of the calendar year. Due to the special time of its play, it is maintained in a Christmas atmosphere. This year, the Wild Match was preceded by a number of attractions – a race of crawling babies, performances by young artists and singing Christmas songs together.
